A Quick Trip to the Lottie

We took advantage of a gap in the rain/ hail showers and popped up to the lottie this evening. In fact it was lovely and warm, and the soil was in much better condition for all the recent precipitation.

The onions seem to have done there thing now, the tops have bent over, so if we get a nice afternoon, I'll lift them and leave them to dry. There are some really smashing looking ones, which I have high show hopes for.

The Broad Beans have recovered nicely from their chop back. It's a pity that I was poorly back in April, because they are along way behind where they should be at this stage, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I tied in my peas to the frame we constructed out of canes and string a few weeks ago. Juno are on the small frame (at the front of the bed - you can only just make it out) and Kelvedon Wonder on the bigger frame.

Parsnip and Beetroot seedlings are looking...well, they look okay...they haven't all withered and died, so thats a bonus! ...and no, they aren't weeds - thank you!

And finally, my tatties. These all seem to be growing away well, and they received their first earthing-up this evening, courtesy of MrPB.

Oh, and cuddles with Coco and Poppy too
